42" & Taller

  • Includes unlimited access to Alpine Slide, Scenic Tram Rides (not including Tram rooftop balcony access, which may be purchased as an Add-On), Peruvian Chairlift, ZipWhipper®, Mountain Coaster, Climbing Wall, Bungee Trampoline, Ropes Course, Mini Ropes Course, Kids Inflatable, Tree Climb, Mini Tree Climb, Summer Tubing and Spider Mountain.
  • Excludes the Tram Rooftop Balcony Add-On and all other summer activities not listed.
  • Each activity has different height and weight requirements. Visit Snowbird's Summer Activities page to learn more.

Under 42" Tall

  • Includes unlimited access to Alpine Slide, Scenic Tram Rides (not including Rooftop Balconies), Kids Inflatables, Mountain Coaster (passengers under 42" must be at least 3 years old, 38" tall and accompanied by an adult), Climbing Wall, Bungee Trampoline, Ropes Course (climbers under 42" are allowed if the safety harness fits correctly and they are accompanied by a 48" or taller climber) Mini Ropes Course, Mini Tree Climb and Summer Tubing (if 40" and taller).
  • Excludes the Tram Rooftop Balcony Add-On and all summer activities not listed.

Toddler Pass (Ages 2-5)

  • Includes unlimited access to Scenic Tram Rides (not including Rooftop Balconies), Mini Ropes Course, Mini Tree Climb and Kids Inflatables.

Redemption Instructions

If you have a Snowbird Ticket/Pass Card, your summer tickets will automatically be added to your existing card. If you are a new passholder or need a new pass card, you can quickly redeem your pass at the Pick-Up Boxes, conveniently located throughout the base area at all Snowbird's lodging properties, Creekside and the Snowbird Center. You can redeem your new season pass in 2 easy steps:

  1. Scan the QR code from your printed confirmation or phone.
  2. Your pass will print and drop into the tray.

A one-time $5 ticketing fee will be added to the purchase of any new ticket or pass card. We highly encourage guests to save and reuse their passes each season by reloading them online. This helps reduce waste while saving you time and money. Lost tickets and passes will be charged a $5 printing fee.

Summer Scenic Tram Details

  • During the summer season, the Tram leaves the Snowbird Center and Hidden Peak every 20 minutes.
  • Ride time is approximately 13 minutes.
  • The Tram and the Hidden Peak terminal are ADA-accessible.
  • Tram service may be canceled due to weather conditions or other circumstances. Rooftop balconies will not be available when raining. Mountain bikes are not permitted on the Tram. Check out the Summer Report for the current lift status.

Rooftop Balcony Add-On

Elevate your experience with an open-air ride atop the Tram with the Rooftop Balcony Add-On. The first of its kind in the USA, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss.

Note: A Summer Scenic Tram Ticket, All-Day Activity Pass, All-Summer Season Pass or 2025-26 Snowbird Season Pass is required to purchase the Rooftop Balcony Add-On.

Tram Rooftop Balcony Add-On

Elevate your experience with an open-air ride atop the Tram with the Rooftop Balcony Add-On. Enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and the city below.

Rooftop Balcony Details

Tram Rooftop Balcony Add-On tickets will be added directly on to your pass/ticket card. They can be used for 1 ride up and 1 ride down during the designated time slot.

Note: A Summer Scenic Tram Ticket, All-Day Activity Pass, All-Summer Season Pass or 2025-26 Snowbird Season Pass is required to purchase the Rooftop Balcony Add-On.

  • Guests must be 42" & taller to access the Tram rooftop balconies. Because guests must climb a ladder to access the Tram rooftop balconies, babies are not allowed in arms or carriers; however, there is no height restriction for riding inside the Tram cabin.
  • The Tram rooftop balconies provide standing room only—capacity is limited.
  • Come prepared with appropriate footwear—high-heeled shoes and pumps are not allowed on the Tram rooftop balconies.
  • Upon boarding the Tram rooftop balconies, passengers must remain there and will not be permitted to relocate down into the Tram cabin until the end of the ride.
