Kinderbird Adventure Team features a maximum of a 3:1 ratio by our skilled coaches, ensuring smaller skiers and snowboarders have fun as they strengthen their skills.

New for 2024-25: A Summit Pass is included for all 5 and 6-year-olds participating in the Kinderbird Adventure Team. That’s right, a full pass with no blackouts so they can ski or ride any time.

Lesson Details


Kinderbird Adventure Team

Kinderbird Adventure Team includes 5 or 10 days of lessons, a Summit Pass and daily lunch.

  • Session Dates:
    Session 1 Saturdays: January 4, 11, 25; February 1, 8
    Session 1 Sundays: January 5, 12, 26; February 2, 9
    Session 2 Saturdays: February 22; March 1, 8, 15, 22
    Session 2 Sundays: February 23; March 2, 9, 16, 23
  • Session Times: Meet at 9:15 am, depart promptly at 9:30 am, lesson ends at 3 pm
  • Skill Level: All Levels
  • Meeting Location: Adventure Team Meeting Area (next to Gadzoom lift); Creekside Lodge (Entry 1)

    Adventure Team | Ages 7-15

    During this multi-week program, children build meaningful relationships with their fellow team members and coach over 5 or 10 Saturdays or Sundays. Adventure Team skiers and snowboarders are grouped by ability. |

    This must be the place.

     On-snow time is designed to teach mountain safety, etiquette and skiing/snowboarding skills, all while experiencing mountain thrills and excitement.

    Expedition Team | Ages 12-17

    The Expedition Team hones the skills of expert-level teens (age 12-17) focusing on all-mountain terrain. Sign up for a 5-week program, with session options for either Saturdays or Sundays. |

    Master the steeps.



    Students are taught in small groups to encourage learning through exploration and camaraderie. Electives and themes provide variety and a new dimension to the big mountain experience. Avalanche awareness, safe mountain travel, etiquette and skill development are components of each session.

    All first-year participants are accepted on a trial basis to ensure fun and safety for all. Space limited.

    Expedition Team meets at 9:15 am, departs promptly at 9:30 am, the lesson ends at 3 pm. Lunch included. Lift tickets or season passes must be purchased separately.

    Spend 5 Saturdays exploring Snowbird with access to express lift lanes and experienced instructors. This program is designed for intermediate to expert female skiers and snowboarders who want to take their skills to the next level. |

    Join Women's Saturday Special and grow your abilities through weekly coaching and camaraderie. Geared towards intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders.

    Lesson Details


    Women's Saturday Special

    Lesson includes 5 days of coaching. On the final Saturday of the program, cap off your experience with a special elective option. Choose from Snowcat Skiing with Snowbird Mountain Guides (additional charge), access to facilities at The Cliff Spa, Guided Snowshoeing, a day of skiing or snowboarding with a guest professional athlete or a beginner lesson in your non-primary discipline. Lift ticket not included.
